Privacy Policy

The short version

Tally Me More does not collect your data. It has no account, no servers, and no analytics. Everything you log stays on your iPhone.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you create — your groups, your tags, your entries, their notes and times, and your settings — is written to a database on your device. Nothing is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to: the app makes no network connections at all.

Two consequences worth stating plainly:

• The app works in airplane mode, completely.
• If you delete the app, your data goes with it. There is no copy on our side to restore from, because there is no our side.

Backups

Your iPhone’s own backup — iCloud Backup or an encrypted backup to your computer — includes Tally Me More’s data, along with everything else on your phone. That backup is between you and Apple; we have no access to it and no visibility into it.

You can also export a copy at any time (Settings → Your data → Export), as a CSV file and a JSON file. Where you put that copy is entirely up to you.

The Shortcuts app, Siri, and NFC

Tally Me More offers actions to Apple’s Shortcuts app, so you can log an entry with a tap, an NFC sticker, or by asking Siri. These run on your device. When a Shortcut passes a tag name to the app, it goes into the same local database as everything else.

Siri requests are handled by Apple. What Apple does with voice data is covered by Apple’s privacy policy, not this one.

Analytics, tracking, advertising

None. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no tracking identifiers, and no crash-reporting service.

If a crash report reaches us, it is because you chose to share diagnostics with developers in your iPhone’s settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements). Those reports come through Apple, are aggregated by Apple, and contain technical information about the crash — not your groups, your tags, or your notes.

Children

The app is not directed at children, collects nothing from anyone, and has no social features, no user-generated content shared with others, and no links out except to Apple’s own apps.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this page will say so before that version ships, and the App Store listing’s privacy label will change with it. The date at the top marks the last revision.
